"YubiOn WindowsLogon Standalone" provided by SoftGiken is an authentication security solution that uses the authentication device "YubiKey" to provide two-factor authentication for PC logon. It is characterized by its simple operation and easy setup, which makes it immediately available.
Since it can be used immediately after installation, it can be introduced even in closed environments not connected to the Internet, and it is a product that is particularly popular with customers who need security in closed environments, such as local governments or bank-related companies.
The authentication device "YubiKey" is an excellent key device with a proven track record and recognition both in Japan and overseas, with simple operability (connect to USB and touch) and high-security strength. However, since it does not support fingerprint authentication, there have been cases where we could not meet the needs of customers whose security policies required biometric authentication.
We are now offering the custom firmware version "ATKey.Pro YubiOn Model", which was jointly developed with AuthenTrend, the manufacturer of the fingerprint authentication device "ATKey.Pro". Combining this with YubiOn WindowsLogon Standalone enables personal authentication using biometric information, which was not possible before, further increasing security.

The finger sensor of the "ATKey.Pro YubiOn Model" boasts high accuracy, with a matching speed of less than 1 second, a FAR (false acceptance rate) of less than 1/50,000, and an FRR (false rejection rate) of less than 2% (※ AuthenTrend official announcement).
This allows for quick and accurate fingerprint authentication. So you can use it without interfering with end-user operations.
【Safe management of biometric information】
The "ATKey.Pro YubiOn Model" registers a fingerprint to the key. So only the user who registered the fingerprint can use the key. It can be operated more safely because it can prevent unauthorized use by third parties in the event of key loss.
The "ATKey.Pro YubiOn Model" safely stores registered fingerprint information inside the device. So there is no need to worry about biometric information leaking due to external access.
When using the fingerprint sensor of the PC, it is necessary to re-register the fingerprint when using another PC. However, since the "ATKey.Pro YubiOn Model" is portable, there is no need to re-register the fingerprint when using it on another PC, which reduces the labor cost.
In addition, you can use the FIDO2 function just like with the regular ATKey.Pro.
